Dear Sirs, I am in the US Army stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY. I would like to try both of your products on my team weapons systems, which consist of a MK-19, M-249, (3) M9's, M-24, and (2) M4's.
We are preparing for deployment and have been cleaning, and checking weapon systems for weeks. The humidity and heat index where we are going will defeat the Army's CLP (MIL-L-63460D AM6).
I feel if I can prove a point with Militec, that my Company will look at the product closely and use it daily in our arms room

Brad, Thank You very much. I read the article on your web site that my Division (101st ABN/Air Assault) has placed an emergency order for Militec-1. Sounds promising! We don't need to have a weapon malfunction while "engaged". Hopefully some of this order will filter down to my Battalion. Unfortunately we have so much CLP stockpiled, I'm afraid that's what we'll be using until it is gone.
I hope that your sample will be able to cover my team weapons. Lots of lubrication points on the weapons. I am planning on taking my soldiers in the next week to out to our MOUT site (Military Operations on Urban Terrain), our weapons will get quite a work out in a simulated close quarters battle. Then before we move out with the Marines for our mission, our 1SG and CDR has a MK-19 range planned.
I would also like to "burn in" Militec-1 onto the weapons after they are fired to ensure that all the pores in the metal are filled and protected. I have done quite a bit of research on your product, and it look's very promising.
When the 1SG and CDR are asking me while my team is still firing the MK-19 while the rest of the company is clearing jams, and re-lubricating I will throw the bottle at them and smile. CLP is okay for short term storage of a weapon and that is the extent of the product.
The MK-19 and M-249 are the nastiest weapon to lubricate and especially clean after being fired. I guess that is why I have a gunner :) That's his job! Mine is to make sure he is proficient on his weapon, and is performing maintenance.
I have also in the past seen weapons malfunctions with rounds cooked off in the chamber. Several soldiers seriously injured (one killed) and weapons destroyed!
I have several of Benchmade's automatic knives that I am going to use it on also. It's amazing how much a pocket knife can attracts so much lint and debris!
You product sounds promising for keeping sand out of our weapons, a big problem in the past causing excessive, unnecessary wear.
You apparently have a great product, can't wait to try it on our weapons here.
Thank You!
